The grant-aid for poor students:
The students who live in remote and poor area can not receive the education they should have. They drop school because they are poor, they even wander about and become homeless and some of them go to the way to commit crime. Therefore, C-A EDF establish the grant-aided project in order to help those students who are from poor family
and those students who are facing to drop school so that to let them finish their studies and find a job in the society.
The standard of application:
The grant-aided project standard depends on the level of the students of the poor family and the information of their studies at school.
- The living standard of the students in the home area.
- Whether the students are under the line of poverty.
- Whether the students are studying at high school or at elementary school.
Financial aid amount:
Every year C-A EDF provide financial aid to 400 students who live in the poor area. Every student will receive RMB500.00 in cash.
The procedure of operation
Application: It is asked for the schools, parents of the students and the village committee to show the letters and give evidence that the said students are real poor students and provide detail information of their studies at school that the school will raise the application.
Verification:
After the visiting the volunteer family of the foundation, C-A EDF will send letters to the project group and special financial aid committee of China Education Development for the verification and the approval.
Allocation of funds:
The said foundation will send letters to notify every student and their parents who receive the financial aid. The schools provide funds under the supervision of coordinator. The
Foundation will send people to inspect schools and students irregularly. The results of the supervision will be the evidence of the application for next year.
